Tasty & light

“This tea has a lovely chocolate orange scent. It tastes like chocolate orange too; but it’s not too sweet & it’s really light. I prefer it to hot chocolate at the end of the day.”

“Really like this tea, as an evening treat on my work nights!
I’m really naughty and brew it in a pot - I get a couple of mugs out of the pot. Mmmmm lovely xxx”

Satisfy your sweet tooth...

“My name is Helen and I'm a chocolate addict. Unfortunately I'm also a diabetic so this tea is a wondrous thing... tastes of Jaffa cakes but without the sugar or calories! Teapigs, you rock.”

Wow, just wow

“I love this Tea its more chocolatey than it is orange i love it with a little bit of sugar and a dash of milk (Even used in to make pancakes with... That was interesting but not bad!) I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice cuppa to sit down to at night or anytime.”

Chocolate Orange Tea

“Lovely, you can taste both flavours separately as one does not over power the other. I need it a little longer than recommended to brew, just my personal taste though. Would definitely buy this again.”

Choc orange hit without the calories

“I love this tea it's the perfect treat when you want a taste of chocolate without the calories.
The first taste you get is a chocolate note followed by a sweet orange delight.”

chocolate orange tea

“the secret with a good brew of this tea is to wait - let it infuse a little longer than you normally would. The first cup I tried was disappointing but trying again leaving longer for the orange to develop made for a much fuller flavour . I would have preferred the chocolate flake tea with the addition of orange peel and/or orange oil, that would have given the real chocolate flavour we're all after - same goes for the chocolate peppermint tea, a lovely tea but add the peppermint to the fabulous chocolate flake tea for perfection ! still love it tho !”

Not for me...

“I was very excited when I saw this special edition. I opened it as soon as my parcel arrived but, the smell is very strong and I don't find it very pleasant.
The tea is ok, but not as good as some of the other special editions (spiced pear, gingerbread & gluhwein).
So not for me but I am sure others will love it.”

Chocolate Orange ..

“Overall the tea smells amazing, took it out the box and could smell it already and was very excited. Sadly the tea was not as strong tasting as I would off liked.
My partner does enjoy it I personally would enjoy it if it had a more tarte taste.”

NOTHING LIKE CHOCOLATE ORANGE AT ALL

* - - - - by REBECCA • 11th December 2018

“THIS IS ONLY GIVEN ONE STAR AS I COULD NOT FIND A WAY TO GIVE NO STARS. THIS WAS THE MOST AWFUL DRINK I HAVE EVER TASTED AND DID NOT TASTE OR SMELL AT ALL LIKE CHOCOLATE ORANGE. I HAD HIGH HOPES FOR THIS TEA AFTER DRINKING AN AMAZING CHOCOLATE ORANGE TEA MADE BY A DIFFERENT COMPANY BUT I WAS EXTREMELY DISSAPPOINTED. THANK GOODNESS IT IS LIMITED EDITION”

Disappointing

* - - - - by Jenny • 11th December 2018

“Firstly I should start by saying I am a huge Teapigs fan & this is the only tea in the range I haven’t enjoyed. From the very first sniff I knew this would not be for me...I only managed a couple of mouthfuls and poured the rest away. It had an odd, vaguely soapy quality. Sad because the description sounded amazing! Though I would not recommend this tea I also bought, and thoroughly enjoyed, the Gingerbread tea. Buy that instead if you are seeking a festive tea-treat :-)”

Disappointed

* - - - - by Michal • 11th December 2018

“I was really looking forward to try that tea. I have bought two packets just because I love chocolate orange treats and it was a limited edition from a company that I adore. I end up with pouring it away because I found not stand that soapy artificial taste. It doesn't taste like orange at all. I really regret buying that tea.”

Not what I'd expected

* - - - - by Katie • 5th January 2019

“On brewing the tea I was horrified to realise it smelt like vomit. Tasting it was just as bad. However after adding milk it completely neutralised the smell and taste so I think I can at least drink them. Not what I expected as I absolutely love tea pigs usually”

Chocolate orange tea..not good

* - - - - by Graham • 30th November 2018

“Was looking forward to trying this as I love the chocolate orange combination, but didn’t like this tea at all, not a good taste or smell, had one cup and threw the rest away.”

Doesn't taste like chocolate orange at all

* - - - - by Jen • 15th January 2019

“I was really disappointed with this tea. My sister and I both love teapigs and chocolate orange so this seemed like the perfect combination for us to try over Christmas.
The smell of this tea was overwhelming as soon as I opened the bag for the first time. The best way I can describe it is like a rotting musky smell. This was all I could smell as I brought the cup closer to my face and the taste of the tea wasn't any better. There was a faint chocolate orange flavour but the smell was so overpowering it made it hard to drink it. Both my sister and I had a cup each and threw them out. Sorry teapigs not a winner for us.”
