this tea got me through my pregnancy!

* * * * * by Elizabeth Berry • 18th July 2017

“Your liquorice and peppermint tea got me through my pregnancy where I suffered from morning sickness and heartburn for the full 10 months (not only was she trouble she was also 2 weeks late).

I'm a big tea/caffeine fiend and it was a shock to the system to have to abstain. I'm also a teacher and needed the peppermint to get me through my Year 9 class after PE. There's nothing like teenage boys after sport to make hiding morning sickness and pregnancy tricky.

teapigs I salute you!”

Best Tasting Tea

“This is my favourite Teapot flavour. It's the only way to start the day. Love how sweet it tastes”

* * * * * by Mandi • 5th June 2017

“This is delicious with so much flavour ! much better than other brands. The 'temple' contain real ingredients opposed to the dust in many tea bags - I am very impressed and look forward to trying the Chamomile Flowers at bedtime ! Has brightened up a rainy day :-)”

* * * * * by Jill • 13th February 2018

“I find most herbal teas are just tasteless "brown water" and don't see the point in drinking them...but this is just divine!
So tasty, sweet and refreshing all at the same time, I find this a great pick me up when I don't want any more caffeine.”

* * * * * by Jo • 19th February 2017

“I would not go back to any other herbal tea after trying 'sweet treat'. The taste is so much stronger and sweeter than any other brand: It really satisfies my sweet cravings whilst being completely guilt free.”

Just sweet enough

* * * * * by Kayleigh Thomas • 31st August 2013

“This is my favourite of the range so far. I find that letting the water cool slightly improves the flavour - it stops the peppermint tasting bitter. I like the tea quite strong but it can often last 2 cups. I really like the way the peppermint hits your mouth but that the sweet liquorice taste comes through afterwards. It has really helped me curb my snacking during the day as I tend to get a sweet craving during the work day. Can't wait to order the 50 box next.”

* * * * * by sophie awdry • 22nd May 2012

“I am an avid herbal tea drinker and this is truly the best tea I have EVER had!!! It makes me so happy every time I drink it.”

“Bought this on a whim this morning- thought it sounded interesting! I have had a chest cold for over a week along with a cough but within minutes of drinking this tea my chest feels so much better and my cough has calmed down- added bonus as I wasn't expecting that! Oh and it tastes amazing!!! This tea is going on my regular shopping list!!!”

* * * * * by Chantil • 5th March 2015

“Ordered a pick and mix box and this tea is by far my favourite so far.

I love liquorice tea but have never had it with mint before. This really doesn't disappoint. The swwetness of the mint combined with the subtle liquorice flavour is very nice”

OMG - This made me feel 20 years younger!

* * * * * by Jon • 22nd January 2016

“I don't usually leave comments, but the flavour of this tea has driven me to it!

I'm not a fan of liquorice sweets, but I remember trying and liking liquorice root about 20 years ago when my dad used to buy bags of the whole root to chew on. So when I bought a box of 12 samples I decided to include this one on a childhood whim.

I like my mint teas strong, so I brewed this for 7 minutes, and after taking my first sip I was blown away by the sweet, sweet liquorice. It was just like chewing the roots again, but with a minty freshness cutting through (and no tough fibres getting stuck between your teeth).

I'm glad I trusted the other comments and am totally putting in a big order for this one.”

the best

“Perfect when you're craving something sweet but trying to be good.”

Absolutely delicious

* * * * * by Sarah Jones • 26th January 2016

“This is just the most delicious, flavoursome tea. It is sweet but refreshing, with no hint of bitterness. I don't like sweet or fruit teas as a rule, I prefer minty or herby ones. I wouldn't have thought to try this but a friend gave me some and now I'm hooked. It is so moreish. The tea bags are very strong so use a big mug or a teapot. I top up mine at least once and it still has a very good flavour.”

* * * * * by Sofia • 8th February 2016

“Fantastic sweet blend! Did not except it to taste this good. Positively surprised and excited to explore other teapigs' flavours!”

* * * * * by Beckie • 30th May 2012

“I discovered these at a local cafe and I had to get myself some - they are utterly delicious.... I don't even particularly like liquorice...these are perfect for satisfying a sweet tooth. 10 out of 5....”

De-Stress Miracle Worker!

“I bought this at a food and drink festival where I was allowed to try shots of each of the teas, this one really stood out. I love mint and I love liquorice but I never thought they would work together! I love to have a cup after a long day as it has a really warm and rich flavour to calm me down and work it's de stress magic!”

“One of my favourite teapigs flavours. I just wish they sold it loose, as the teabags are a bit too expensive for me.”

simply lovely

“My Daughter Ebony bought me a pack of the mint and liqurice teapigs today and they are really lovely...what a lovely gift and lovely surprise..just embarking on a real health kick too so they are perfect for a sweet tooth...thank you Ebs and thank you Teapigs! x”

Incredible liquorice and peppermint!

* * * * * by Matt • 7th April 2014

“I've been drinking Teapigs tea for over a year now and was pleasantly surprised with a sample sachet of liquorice and peppermint. Since then I have not been able to drink anything else! It's simply incredible and satisfies a sweet tooth I did not know I had. Having come off adding sugar to every day tea, this has become the ideal and guilt free substitute.

I must also add that Becky at Teapigs has been wonderful in resolving an issue I had with a pack. A replacement plus an additional pack is brilliant customer service. The minor issue does not stop me giving this product a 5/5 rating. I'm going to try buying it loose now!”

Beautiful tea

* * * * * by Jenna • 28th March 2014

“My partner bought me this tea for my birthday recently and in all honestly I didn't even want to try it as I hate liquorice! However, I tried it out of politeness and it is honestly the most beautiful tea I have ever tasted, a lovely peppermint flavour at first with a burst of sweetness afterwards. I'm completely addicted and introduced a friend to it last night who also loved it!”

* * * * * by Molly • 4th June 2014

“It's almost indescribable how marvellous this brew is! It definitely satisfies any sweet cravings, unfortunately that happens all to regularly for me but I'm pleased to say TeaPigs have come to the rescue once again!”

Surprisingly tasty - just try it!

* * * * * by Holly • 24th April 2014

“I was not convinced by this tea as I don't like liquorice, until a colleague gave me a bag to try and I was amazed at the taste! Sweet but minty and strong, beautiful. I wouldn't guess it had liquorice in it if I didn't know the name. I would recommend anyone get a sample and you will be pleasantly surprised!”

What peppermint tea should taste like!

* * * * * by Alexandra Wingrove • 13th February 2014

“I bought this purely because my order came came to just under the free delivery threshold - but oh my days it's wonderful! It's beautifully sweet, and makes a lovely treat! I can get at least 2 cups out of one tea bag, and I bet it would taste great over ice too :-)”

* * * * * by Simone Mari Kalkerup • 30th January 2014

“I've been looking for a tea with the real liquorice flavour from the roots, since I had a tiny bit left of another decent tea, but haven't been able to find one. But then I received this one as a present, and I haven't even finished it before I had to order a new batch.

Also it really worked wonders on my throat, which was really sore.”

Sooo good

* * * * * by Kathia Maillefert • 7th August 2014

“You have to try this tea. I have a sweet tooth and have been on a 4-week detox, but I'm allowed caffeine free tea. Anyway, I came across this team and yesterday was the 1st time I tried.

WOW, it's packed with flavour. You get the lovely mint taste and then a might punch of smooth sweetness. Really hits the spot. And don't worry if you dont like liquorice (I'm not a fan) but you can't taste it, just tastes beautifully sweet.

Definitely a must and to make it even better I did a little test! I used the same tea bag 3 times (topping it up with hot water) and it was still packed with flavour. An added bonus, not only does it taste great but you can carry on enjoying it a couple of times!”

* * * * * by Ramona • 5th March 2014

“I had to order more because my daughter really enjoys this (and she is usually very picky) and so do I. Can't wait for teapigs to come to the US.”

Very Good Amazing wow

My favourite tea !!

* * * * * by Joanna • 8th October 2014

“My sister was buying teapigs and saying they were amazing but I'd never heard of them and she said I could pick a flavour, so i picked this.
Just expected a generic herbal tea but this tastes soooo good! I'm not really a tea person, i have a huge sweet tooth but i don't like liquorice yet this tea is amazing!
i love how it's kind of syrupy as well, if that makes any sense!
definitely my fav tea :)”

Hate liquorice, not keen on peppermint, LOVE this tea!

* * * * * by Danni • 16th December 2014

“I got a free sample of this when buying other tea.I wasn't keen but thought I'd try it after the reviews and it is delicious, don't be put off if you don't like liquorice, give it a try”

Sweet tea without the calories

* * * * * by Elizabeth • 14th January 2015

“One of my favorite beauty bloggers recommended this tea and although I'm not a fan of liquish sweets, I really like this tea. It's minty fresh and soothing and the liquish really sweetens it. It's great for when you fancy something naughty but are trying to be good.”

* * * * * by Emma • 18th January 2015

“I watched essiebutton's youtube review after hearing rave reviews about this tea. Spotted it in tesco and despite the price tag telling me no I bought it anyway. SO WORTH IT. It tastes sweet, syrupy like honey running down your throat.”

Pleasantly surprised

* * * * * by Sara Friend • 15th March 2014

“Like previous reviewers, I bought a small pack to push into the free delivery band and was still a little worried that it would be tasting like liquorice. But it is wonderfully sweet and might even stop me having a sweet treat this afternoon. But I'm not making promises. Will be buying a proper sized box next time.”

Best tea ever

* * * * * by Jen • 5th August 2014

“This tea far exceeded my expectations. Not sure how to describe it except it's delicious. I'm not a liquorice fan but this has a lovely taste and sweet kick. Love it and will keep ordering as it is helping when I have sweet cravings on my diet!”

* * * * * by Vikki • 13th March 2014

“This is the best tea I have ever tasted, hands down, a boss at my new company lent me a tea bag (teapigs Liquorice and Peppermint) this was yesterday, I am now on my third and am ordering a 50 pack on payday! I crave it now after just one cup!

I wish teapigs did a Lady Grey blend!”

* * * * * by chris • 29th July 2014

“Found this when away with work in Hong Kong of all places. Absolutely amazing taste, liquorice is subtle but really makes the drink. Now back in Thailand and will have to go hunting to see if anyone sells it here.”

The Strangest Tea Ever

* * * * * by Charlotte • 2nd July 2014

“This tea was NOT what I expected. When brewed it smells just like an average peppermint tea, but when you taste it, it's such much different. At first, it tastes just like a mint green tea, but after there's a lovely kick of sweetness - really satisfies my sweet tooth, and it doesn't taste like liquorice, for those of you wondering! It is lovely, though.”

Truly addictive

* * * * * by Tracey Liddle • 3rd February 2014

“As someone who cannot drink tea without adding sweetener this tea ideal. The natural sweetness of the liquorice is fabulous. The liquorice flavour that kicks in when you swallow is addictive. Best of all when it has sat on my desk and gone cold it still tastes great.”

So Yummy!

Converted me to hot drinks

* * * * * by Helun Prynne • 4th April 2019

“I’ve never been a hot drink drinker however this liquorice and peppermint tea has converted me! I must have my fix of 1 per day. It’s such a lovely flavour, unlike other bland teas this one packs a punch! Also if trying to be good I have one of these teas to replace a sweet treat and it does the job!”

* * * * * by Ruth • 20th June 2012

“This tea is like arfhapwrhgarpoh! There is no word to describe how amazing it is.

When you drink it, at first you get quite a subtle sweet taste, not sugary, just naturally sweet. Then, whilst its in your mouth its tastes all minty and nice then when you have swallowed your mouth explodes with a cool kind of tingly feeling!

Truly amazing.

I bought one of the tester boxes of each flavour so I'll review them as i drink them :)

I hope i manage to help someone”

A lovely little twist

* * * * * by Stephanie Clark • 14th June 2013

“I have just brewed my first cup of this delicious tea, I am still sipping away on it as I write the review. It is a wonderful twist on the usual peppermint tea, the liquorice isn't overpowering but it adds a tasty little sweet kick at the end of every sip. Can't wait to try it iced.”

fantastic taste- truly indulgent

* * * * * by Sharon McDowell • 4th January 2014

“This is my favourite, tried other makes in the past but then introduced to teapigs. Never looked back, taste is fantastic, true flavour and a touch of luxury. Other brands are a poor imitation. You certainly get what you pay for. If you like liquorice you will adore these temples. I will now not drink any other brand.

Thanks teapigs.

Regards. Sharon”

“I was offered this tea at a friend house about a week ago, I have never had any teapigs before but had seen them in the shops and was curious to try them. That afternoon I went out and bought my own box which lasted about three days, I have just received my first order, I went big and ordered 3 boxes of 50. The tea is the best I have tasted, so smooth and sweet, definitely worth the extra pennies.”

Cleared my skin and also any tummy troubles

* * * * * by Eve Jessett • 24th August 2013

“I found this tea by accident. I gave up caffeine and found I was dairy intolerant so had to switch to herbal teas. Initially I was drinking Pukka Liquorice and Mint, but it wasn't great, and they irritated me with their spelling ;-)

I bought the Teapig range in a local supermarket and have been hooked ever since. I think I'm on order number 3 now and can't get enough of it.

My skin is definitely clearer (probably down to the extra water intake) and I've found that if I have any tummy trouble (from consuming dairy or gluten) then a quick cup of tea settles me straight down.

I won't be drinking anything else, I take this tea with me everywhere - there's always a couple of temples in my handbags, on my desk and even in the car!

I like the fact that its quite a strong flavour, its not wishy washy at all, it packs a punch and one tea temple easily does 2 cups if you're worried about the price!”

Such a must try!

* * * * * by Kt • 13th November 2013

“Love, love love this tea! It was one of my first purchases from tea pigs after I tasted a cup at wagamamas. Since then it's been a firm favourite and I'm topping up my 3rd order. I really enjoy the taste of this tea and feel like it's helped my curb snacking as it satisfied my sweet tooth. Would recommend this tea to ppl who enjoy peppermint but find normal bags a but bitter and unexciting”

I was unwell earlier this year and the medication I had to take made me really nauseous. I couldn't stomach normal tea so I kept looking for alternatives. This was wonderful!

I am now hooked on the stuff, it delicious hot or if forgotten about and it goes cold its lovely to, slight difference in flavour cold.

I have now got all my family hooked on the stuff!”

“It simply does not get better than this. I have to buy this is large boxes now as we get through it so quickly.

The flavours are incredible and that liquorice after-taste is something you have to try to believe.

Buy it. Buy it now and buy some more for friends, you won't be sorry.

Must say though I haven't tried it cold yet.”

best licquorice-mint tea I've found

* * * * * by Sarah • 16th July 2013

“I discovered a rival's (Lipton) licquorice-mint tea in France and had been drinking that - importing it myself when going on hols or ordering over web. Teapigs is in a different category all together. I am a convert to Teapigs and now ordering industrial quantities to feed my healthy habit. If you want something refreshing, delicious and different - try Teapigs licquorice and mint.”

“I love this tea.... Absolutely my favourite!”

Has replaced my addiction to coffee!

* * * * * by Sandie Bradley • 2nd July 2013

“I used to drink four or five cups of coffee a day and craved my coffee fix but since trying this tea I haven't drunk a cup of coffee in days!
This is my favourite hot drink now. Every time the kettle goes on, this is what I'm reaching for!

It is a beautiful, refreshing drink. The mint isn't quite as strong as Teapig's Pure Peppermint tea but still has that lovely clean taste...... and then the sweetness of the licorice hits you! It is like having four teaspoons of sugar added, but nicer, and much better for you! I don't know how but it has a kind of creamy, decadent taste to it too, but what I love best is the lovely sweetness you get at the end of every sip! I'm watching my weight at the moment and this is a beautiful substitute for any other hot drink that may be laden with calories as it is only one calorie a cup, and it certainly kills any sweet cravings I may have had!
I just bought my first box of fifty bags after my initial fifteen bag box, and I'm sure I'll be making plenty more orders for fifty bags of this gorgeous tea!

I'm addicted!!”

“I use 1 Tea temple in a 1Lt flask and leave it to brew, drinking it slowly. Tastes just as great cold as it does hot.

Just placed a second order, but went for the bulk buy option :)”

“I am a fan of good Scandinavian liquorice and I was very excited to see this tea in a store.
Interestingly, the tea tasted a little bit sweet- I guess it is due to the liquorice root. Overall, It is very refreshing and slightly addictive.
I will definitely purchase this tea again- it is a nice treat, but it is rather pricey for a student.”

“I love this tea and always have a box in my desk. Recently (I couldn't wait for my teapigs tea to be delivered) I bought a box of inferior liquorice & mint tea from a rival. It was awful. I am back to teapigs now and this experience has only served to highlight how incredible teapigs tea is.

I love the sweet liquorice flavour of this - it's a great substitute for a sweet snack in the afternoon!”

“Had this as a taster with my main order of chamomile tea and promptly flung it to the back of the cupboard thinking I'd never like such an awful sounding combination, however, curiosity got the better of me and I finally made a cup fully expecting to tip it straight down the sink, how wrong was I. This was absolutely gorgeous and I would now highly recommend to anyone whose willing to go against the natural assumption that liquorice has no place in a tea cup to just try it, you'll be pleasantly and refreshingly surprised.”

“Scent: sweet & clearly mint..

Taste palette: Initially light & refreshingly Mint with sweet subtle tones, but here is the twist, upon swallowing the roof of ones mouth is enveloped in a liquorice "layer" which stays present but so flavoursomely addictive urges me on to take another sip & repeat the whole process over!

Heaven savoured!

No sugar required (liquorice is naturally very sweet).

If you like liquorice this is for you, ..if a hater, move on there's nothing here for you!”

Quite simply the best herbal tea ever

* * * * * by Joshua Silver • 8th March 2013

“My wife bought these as something to try. I generally like liquorice. Peppermint tea is OK. But this combination makes the perfect herbal tea. The liquorice adds sweetness as if this was peppermint tea with sugar, but there are calories or aftertaste of artificial sweetners. The other thing is that this is genuinely nice both hot and cold. Just brilliant.”

“I love my cup of tea (or coffee, I'm a sucker for both) in the morning. I usually stick to a plain old brew but this tea is amazing and has totally taken over from my normal tea! First off, I don't need any milk or sugar. That is an amazing feat because I'm renowned for how much sugar I put in my drinks. Secondly, I'm not even a fan of liquorice, or peppermint for that matter, but I will happily drink this. Its taste and the experience of drinking this is intoxicating. It's like being in my favourite book, I just want to stay in that warm cozy place.”

“I usually hate sweet drinks of any kind and pretty much stick to black coffee, but I absolutely adore this tea.

The mintyness is just right - not too overpowering - and then the liquorice comes through, leaving a delicate minty-sweet aftertaste...It works so well together.

It's actually pretty hard to describe and judging from the other reviews, it's not the same for everyone.

I wasn't intending on re-purchasing any teas from here so soon, but my pack's running low and I don't think I can go many days without this tea anyone!”

“This is the best tea I have ever tasted!
Bought it by coincidence on a trip to London and been hooked ever since. It's incredible rich in taste, and doesn't smell good and taste bitter and bad like other teas. You need no sugar or sweetener at all, I actually think that would ruin the tea. Especially good when you want something sweet after dinner.
Unfortunately nobody sell it in Norway where I live so I hope they never stop selling it online. Try it, you will love it!”

“This is my favorite tea - EVER!!

I love the sweet taste of this tea, which could easily be over powering from the rich liquorice if it wasn't for the perfect cooling of the mint. I find it a smashing brew - warming in the winter and refreshing in the summer (when we get one!!)

Highly recommended if you want something sweet with some body to it, and are wanting something different to the usual fruity flavours.

Thanks Teapigs I love you...I mean really love you!!”

“Now I'm not a fan of tea. I would like to like tea and am treated like an outcast as I dont get a hot drinks round in work. Ive always like the smell of herbal teas but then when Ive tasted them its felt liek dishwater. Then on holiday in morrocco I discovered mint tea. I could tolerate this (Mainly due to the collosal amount of sugar its served with. I tried mint teas in the Uk and teapigs was the collest I found to the yummy freshness of morrocon mint.. but then by chance stumbled on this beauty. No longer do i need to feel guilty as the slight sweet edge means I don't need to add sugar and the mint is refreshing. Ive had it hot and iced and both are superb. Thank you teapigs!”

What a tease!

* * * * * by Abigail Hoy • 16th August 2012

“In my last order from Teapigs I had a sample tea temple of this.

I'm a big lover of liquorice and it didn't actually click for me that this would actually refer to liquorice root, call me slow but I was think about classic candy shop liquorice and mint imperials, I thought this was going to be a vile concotion.

I don't think I could have been more wrong if I'd tried, usually I'm one to heap my tea full of sugar and honey but this doesn't need any of that tat. The mint is smooth and fine like it's fresh picked out of the garden and it blends perfectly into the liquorice that gives it an amazing sweet burst at the end. Absolutely delicious, they're now definitely on my wishlist, Teapigs you bunch of teases!”

This is different, it's comforting and has a lovely minty sweet after taste. Thank goodness someone can make flavoured tea that actually tastes nice and not like warm pond water!! Thanks Teapigs!”

I really enjoy the minty flavour and although the licorice is not what I expected because it is very subtle, there's a slight second of bitterness before the sweetness hits. I'm not a fan of that but I really do enjoy the tea.”

Perfect for sweet tooth cravings

* * * - - by Miriam Nicholson • 21st June 2013

“Brand: Teapigs

Name: Liquorice and Peppermint

Type: Herbal “Sweet Treat”

Packaging: “Tea Temple” Pyramid silk teabag

Taste: I love peppermint tea and this has a weak taste when you take a sip, with the mint coming through as soon as you swallow, not overpowering but enough to leave a cool, refreshed feeling and taste in your mouth (it’s a dual purpose breath fresher!) followed through with the extra sweet warming liquorice taste at the back of the mouth. The liquorice is not overpowering (I don't like most black liquorice) but gives that warm aniseed-y taste that is a very elegant, adult sweetness compared to other hot sweet drinks like "milo".

Rating: 3 Stars

Value: NZ$2.40 for 2 sample bags - $1.20 each. For a 15 teabag box it is NZ$0.60 per teabag and for a 50 teabag box its NZ$0.46 (approx. cost based on exchange rates, does not factor in shipping cost)

I personally value tea highly, but Teapigs is expensive if you live in NZ due to the shipping cost – however, I try every peppermint tea I come across and none even comes close to the SPARKLE that is Teapigs peppermint tea so I am, and always will be a devotee! I will endeavour to review teas from all price ranges and compare the value for money of them. For me, tea is my indulgence, my luxury and relaxation time –for me, moments of happiness are priceless.

Available: Teapigs Website:

Comments: This is the second time I have tried this tea, having purchased the 2 tea bag sampler from Teapigs. One bag is good for 2-3 cups of tea. Which is reasonably good value for a sample. I love samples – it means I don’t end up with heaps of tins of tea that I may not like, I get to try something new and it’s like Christmas – more flavours to expand my palate and knowledge.

I didn’t like this at first. So much so that it has taken me nearly a year to try the second one again! It was this article that prompted me to do so - it is worth the read (I have over 40 samples of Pratty’s tea coming in the post – will update you with reviews soon!). Anything that can claim to be a stress reducer, anti-inflammatory, weight loss and a digestive aid is something I have to try as I suffer from IBS and anxiety. It is very sweet – and definitely satisfying for someone who used to eat chocolate daily! It did put me in a happy mood (but I was having a good day already) and I tried the last cup iced as Teapigs suggests on their website – it was just as delicious and the peppermint was brought out and was more refreshing and cooling with the temperature change.

I would recommend this is you have a sweet tooth, as for being a digestive aid, I would have to use it more frequently than once to gauge its effectiveness. Teapigs peppermint tea is my “cure all, magical, can’t live without it” tea. I carry this everywhere – actually, it’s in my handbag. It soothes the bowls, digestive system, calms painful cramping and red splotchy inflammation of the skin which is a result of IBS and Stress. I will review this but it is SPECTACULAR.

How: I am currently not overly “scientific” with my approach to brewing tea (similar to “Grandpa Style” - I usually enjoy a cup of tea as a pick me up during the day or to reduce my cravings to satisfy my sweet tooth! I usually, and in this review, put the tea bag in the cup, put in 1/5 cold water, pour over boiling water and then refill with hot water several times until I have had 2-3 cups of tea and have gotten the best value and enjoyment I can from my tea. I prefer to add cold water first as it is a better temperature to brew tea at, it gives more flavour and it is drinkable right away! I leave the teabag in the cup the entire time as I like a strong flavour. This is also because I usually don’t like to leave it on a dish at work to wait for me to finish my cup and re-steel it because a) it looks odd having a soggy teabag on a plate b) it usually gets thrown out by someone c) its extra work – I’m all about tea being easy and relaxing. To make the iced tea I let it cool and added ice to my cup – obviously there are better ways to make iced tea to appreciate it more, but by the glass at work this is an effective, hassle free method.”

Pleasently suprised!

“Let me start by saying I am not at all a fan of liquorice but I recieved a free sample of this with another order and attempted to approach it with an open mind.

It is really sweet and not at all like the liquorice in the sweet shops. It isn't my first choice of tea ('s ace!) but I certainly won't turn it down in future.”

Too sweet for me!

“Really thought I was going to like this- until the super sweet after taste hit me! Shame as I know it's a lot of people's favourite but I just can't get over the sweetness, I had to come on here and check there wasn't any sugar in there! It's a little better once it's cooled down. Impressive strength of flavour though.”

Liquid Kendall mint cakes

“The headnote is lovely pepperminty, sooo delicious; then you get a subtle hint of liquorice flavor, just right for me; but this quickly seems to mutate into a taste like a mouthful of glucose syrup. A good dash of lime or lemon juice gave this a fresh zing and took away some of the sweetness, and still it is just too sweet for me. But I just don't have much of a sweet tooth.”

Very sweet

* * - - - by Sara • 30th October 2012

“If you don't like your tea sweetened normally, this one is probably way to sweet for you. The taste is interesting (in a good way) but almost instantly drowned out by a hit of sickly sweetener taste. Of course, if you like sweet tea, this would be ideal.”

Too sweet for me.

“I have tried this tea, and have realized that it is fully copied from a different brand: Duphil!
This company had this product in their portfolio for a few years now.
I've always thought teapigs is an innovative brand, that creates new flavors, but am now aware that this and a few other flavors are just taken from other producers.. I am very disappointed!!”

“Thankfully I bought this tea as a sample pack. I couldn't drink it, in fact it turned my stomach every time I attempted to. I love the teapig range so was disappointed I didn't love this. The mint aroma and taste were very overpowering.”
