Alex at the Wells Kitchen in Tunbridge Wells has been getting creative with our spiced winter tea temples. He’s used them to create a Spiced Toddy to keep away those winter chills. Why not try it yourself and let us know what you think:


  • 1 x teapigs spiced winter tea temple
  • 50ml of quality blended whiskey
  • 1 x teaspoon honey
  • a sprinkle of cinnamon
  • a teaspoon of gingerbread syrup
  • 25ml of fresh lemon juice


Allow the tea to infuse with boiling water whilst you add all the other ingredients. Infuse for just over a minute. Grab a cinnamon stick and use to stir. Remove the tea temple and leave the cinnamon stick in the glass. Finish off with the gingerbread syrup. Serve in a half pint tankard.
